We were highly impressed and very thankful at the speed from prognosis to operation.

On behalf of my wife and myself, words cannot express how thankful we are to Mr Ishaque and his team for the care, kindness and consideration shown to us recently following an accident abroad.

I was flown home with a spinal injury and after after 9 weeks of indecisions and an inappropriate diagnosis, I was very fortunately referred to Mr Ishaque by my GP. 

From the first telephone call to Linda Hamilton, Mr Ishaque’s secretary, we were most impressed with the speed and efficiency of the arrangement for my consultation and the kindness shown by her.

At the first consultation with Mr Ishaque, he arranged for further scans and x-rays.  At this time, I was in considerable pain and felt very depressed but Mr Ishaque assured me that all would be done to help  towards a speedy recovery and  he made me feel for the first time since my accident that a  positive outcome would be achieved.

At the second consultation the scans and X-rays revealed that my spine was still very unstable and there was the possibility I could be paralysed if my spine was not correctly treated.   I was shocked and very stressed with the news that I needed a major operation but Mr Ishaque was very explicit in his explanation of the procedure and exactly what the operation entailed which helped to alleviate the tension and pressure both my wife and I  were feeling at that time. He made us feel very positive and restored our confidence. 

My next appointment was with Dr da Silva,  the anaesthetist who also helped us with the acceptance of the situation, explaining all the scenarios from the time I went into the operating theatre to the recovery period in intensive care.  This also made us feel more positive.

We were highly impressed and very thankful at the speed from prognosis to operation.

After the successful operation the motivation, inspiration and commitment given to me by Mr Ishaque and Dr Da Silva was second to none. 

The expertise and professionalism of the team was of the highest standard throughout.  My road to recovery was beyond our expectations and we are so grateful to Mr Ishaque and his dedicated team.
