Thank you again Mr. Ishaque for giving me back a happy healthy lifestyle!

I am pleased to have this opportunity to thank Mr. Ishaque and his team for their professionalism and kindness both during and after my treatment at the Priory. I had been recommended to see Mr. Ishaque by a friend after having suffered months of debilitating sciatica which had seriously curtailed my previously very active lifestyle involving walking, mountaineering, rock climbing etc. After first trying injections which had limited success, it was decided that I needed an operation involving decompression and fusion of vertebrae in my lower back.  This long operation was carried out at the end of July 2014, with excellent care from Mr. Ishaque, also the anaesthetist Dr da Silva ( who discovered a previously undiagnosed heart murmur!) as well as all the nursing staff. 

 

It is now two years since my operation. After physiotherapy, also at the Priory, I was soon  walking without pain, and I have recently been on a week’s walking holiday with my husband in the mountains of northern Spain, and plan to do more holidays like this in the future. Thank you again Mr. Ishaque for giving me back a happy healthy lifestyle!
