My procedure was explained precisely, and I would like to say how Mr.Ishaque, Dr Da Silva,  Linda Hamilton and all the team gave me every confidence and kindness to go ahead.

My nightmare began in December 2011 when I started to have right buttock and leg pain it progressively worsened in a short period of time. I was recommended to see Mr.Ishaque.

After having a MRI scan it was found that I had spinal stenosis. My initial course of treatment was to have steroid injections to see if this would cure my problem.  Eventually I had two treatments of steroid injections which worked for a few weeks only. Mr Ishaque explained there was no alternative but to have an operation which as you can imagine was a frightening prospect.

I underwent the procedure for a central decompression discectomy and undercutting facet joint.

I spent 6 days in the Priory my care was excellent I was reviewed daily by Mr. Ishaque and Dr Da Silva. After leaving hospital I underwent a physiotherapy program, it is now only 3 months since my operation and I am virtually pain free.

I would recommend anyone with back problems to see Mr. Ishaque apart from being professional he is a really nice person.

I feel that I have been given my life back again. Thank you.
