Mr. Ishaque is not only an exemplary orthopaedic surgeon but also very kind and caring. He is approachable, very professional, patient, clear and concise in his explanations.

My husband and I owe Mr. Ishaque and his Team a huge debt of gratitude for the treatment we have both received. Roger fell from the roof of a Combine Harvester some 15 years or so before another surgeon he was consulting for a hip problem, recommended that he see Mr. Ishaque as soon as possible. Roger was in a wheelchair and, quiet apart from the awful pain he suffered daily, he had become prone to huge ‘attacks’ of pain when he was literally unable to move or let anyone touch him. Never knowing when this was going to happen affected him psychologically and he was very reluctant to venture far from home. Roger had other health issues which made a huge (7 hour) operation even more worrying. However having tired alternative, less invasive, methods of relieving the paint it was decided that there would be no alternative other than to operate.  The results have been amazing. Roger got his life back and within eight months was back combining! The whole team were wonderful: I was really concerned and stayed at the hospital for two nights but both Mr. Ishaque and Dr da Silva were very kind, keeping me informed each step of the way.

 

I also had been suffering with back problems for about 20 years but, knowing that the risks of back operations were always reported to be high, I steadfastly refused to even consider surgery, although I consulting may professionals with varying degrees of expertise and travelled miles to try to get relief. Having experienced at first hand the care, concern and brilliance of Mr. Ishaque, I felt confident enough to agree to have surgery myself, first on my neck (which was unstable) and then some twelve months later on my back. My experience has been the same as Roger's. Same quality of care, kindness and support. One of the things I am most grateful for is the ability to sleep through the night after existing on between two and four hours tops!

 

We know that our treatment is very far from unique as Mr. Ishaque spends his life working  ‘miracles’  for so many people and we can only add our voices to theirs by saying that our experience has been excellent. He is approachable, very professional, patient, clear and concise in his explanations and both Roger and I count ourselves very fortunate to have had the best possible care available.
