Thank you for your letter dated 11th March 2019 confirming your assessment during my visit to your clinic at The Wolverhampton Nuffield last Friday. It took ten years off me!

 

More importantly, I would like to sincerely thank you for what turned out to be a brilliant assessment back in November! You advised against further surgery and, as I was in very severe pain at the time, it felt inconceivable that the problem might resolve itself without surgery.

 

Naturally I followed your advice and only three and a half months later you were proved to be absolutely correct. You then took the time to explain my condition in lay-mans terms so that I can try to avoid those things that are likely to create problems down the line.

 

Hopefully going forward I shall be able to do most of the thing that are important to me (ski-ing is a must lol) while eliminating those higher risk sports that I had participated in for longer than perhaps I should have.

 

The positive impact that you have made to my life making the right decision cannot be exaggerated. I understand that I still retain ten per cent chance of future problems but for now I am grateful to be able to get on with my life.
