I first saw Mr Ishaque approx. two and a half years ago with two severe degenerate and prolapsed discs,(age 45) at the consultation I was very impressed and relieved that unlike many consultant surgeons of today he was very anti operation in this case as it would have merely pushed the problem away to later in my life not to mention caused considerable recovery and ongoing disability.

Instead he recommended in a very confident and calm manor a sequence of less severe and more holistic processes,(being of the mind myself that operations are the last remedy ) it was very comforting that he was prepared to look at all options before going under the knife as it were !

I am pleased to say that it was absolutely the right thing to do, I have two years since had a further MRI to compare the “then” and “now” were it clearly shows an improvement in my condition to the extent in my case that I am in fact in better shape now than I have been for 20years in terms of flexibility.

If only more medical practitioner of all types took this approach today we would all be less inclined to jump to drugs and operations which in some cases are not the best solution.

I have since seen Mr Ishaque on a less severe injury (self-inflicted!!) and had the same excellent service and would have no hesitation what so ever, and indeed have recommended him to others.
