I hear people say that their operation has change their lives. I didn't need mine to change my life, I needed it so I could get my normal life back. I know now that the operation also changed my future as I was told I was destined to spend the rest of my later years in a wheelchair, but in the hands of the wonderfully gifted surgeon I have my life back and a much more fulfilling future to look forward to.

I underwent decompression and spinal fusion from L2 to sacrum. If anyone is facing this type of operation and are concerned don't be, I can assure you, you have found the right team. It's only been three months since my operation and already friends and family are telling me I look fantastic and seem to be walking better than ever but when you have been in discomfort for years I think it starts to tell on you. I am now back at work and can hold and play with my grandchildren once again.
