if my condition renders me unable to live my life I will straight back to him.

July 2017

I very gingerly walked into Mr Ishaque’s consultation room in February 2017, he ordered an MRI and an x-ray of my back in a standing position. It was discovered that I had spondylolisthesis grade 2 L4/5  L5/S1. Within a short space of time my first round of steroid injections was complete and I started Physio Therapy.

Though I felt some improvement after the first procedure I still found I needed anti-inflammatory drugs to help with my pain levels. I  discussed with Mr Ishaque  the possibilities of more steroid injections which he approved.

The second procedure was performed on Tuesday 02 May, the next day I felt remarkably well, I did not need to take pain killers I felt better than I had done for many months. I was delighted with the outcome as my Husband and I had booked a horse riding holiday in Southern Spain where we have never galloped so far at such speed ever before. I would not have been able to do this if it were not for Mr Ishaque’s skill and knowledge. During the week of riding I had one day where my  back felt  a little uncomfortable but that was doable considering the activity levels for the entire week.

I have now been discharged from Mr Ishaque’s care, my condition will not go away, I have a deformity but I know if my condition renders me unable to live my life I will straight back to him. I hope my story helps you with your decision to take back your life if you have a similar condition.
