I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Ishaque for any spinal problems. May I take this opportunity to wish Mr Ishaque and his team all the very best in their exceptional work they carry out.

November 2014
My journey with back trouble started in 2007 after an accident at work. I was told at that time that I needed a fusion at the L3-4 level; this was done in March of that year, but resulted in 2 screws coming loose and a failed fusion.
Two years later at another hospital I underwent a procedure to fuse the spine again, the same procedure again, but with more extensive metalwork. Following this operation and whilst still in the hospital, the surgeon told me that he had got to re-open me up because of a misplaced screw. This procedure took place, and on leaving this hospital I was struck down with an infection in the wound. 5 years passed with a lot of discomfort, and although I attended many appointments during that time the surgeon told me everything was fine despite the pain I was in.
Having lived with intolerable pain for five years I decided to seek out another consultant for another opinion. Looking on the web-site, I came across Mr Ishaque, and subsequently made an appointment in late December of last year. It was found that metalwork in my spine could have been better positioned and the level above the previous fusion was arthritic.
After under-going an injection, which provided short term relief, it was agreed that surgery was the best option. The risks were pointed out to me by Mr Ishaque and Dr da Silva. Now some six months on, the benefits of the surgery have been worth the initial risks involved.
As others have said before me the surgery and stay in hospital were managed wonderfully by Mr Ishaque and Dr da Silva. The follow up consultations have been handled with just as much professionalism, allowing me to ask as many questions as I needed so that I left feeling confident and in control.
I would like to express my appreciation to Mr Ishaque and his team for the treatment on my back over the last few months. I feel that all the way through I have been well informed of each step and the realistic outcomes. Most of all the frank explanations of the future prognosis for me,
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Ishaque for any spinal problems. May I take this opportunity to wish Mr Ishaque and his team all the very best in their exceptional work they carry out.
Kind regards,
