I've never before had the pleasure of feeling that my consultant is working with me

I've played a lot of sport in my life and have had numerous consultants undertake various treatments and surgery. This is the 1st time I've suffered any physical issue that has made me sob and beg for the pain to stop. Mr Ishaque was recommended to me as an incredibly thoughtful specialist who would seek the least invasive opportunities to put me back on my feet, indeed telling me I would be able to do everything I could before I had suffered this issue.

 

I've never before had the pleasure of feeling that my consultant is working with me, talking through the issues, discussing options in a way which allows you to feel like an adult who can be involved in making informed decisions about their own health.

 

It's not just the extraordinary knowledge and experience that Mr Ishaque clearly brings which gives you complete faith in a man at the very top of his profession; it's also his style, compassion, professionalism and honesty which mean that I would recommend him to anyone who feels - as I did - that they'd be in debilitating agony, on drugs, bed-bound for the rest of their life; and trust that this is one consultant who will understand and bring you back to life with immense care.

 

Supported by the most amazing and caring professionals, both within Linda and the secretariat and those working within the theatre; this is a consultant I have already recommended and will do so consistently to anyone who feels helpless and hopeless.
