I cannot recommend Professor Ishaque and his team highly enough.

In February 2013 Professor Ishaque performed major reconstructive surgery on my spine following years of excruciating pain.  The operation was a great success and gave me a new lease of life without back pain.

Over the last twelve months I had been experiencing some lower left back pain which radiated down my leg.  I decided to contact Professor Ishaque who immediately arranged an MRI Scan.   This revealed there was a degree of adjacent disease at L2/L3 which is not unexpected given the extent of my previous spinal fusions.

Professor Ishaque’s aim has always been to try to avoid surgery and he recommended I had a transforaminal epidural at L2/L3, which I am pleased to say made a significant improvement.  

Professor Ishaque contacted me again to see how I was progressing.  Following discussion, we agreed that a second injection could improve matters even further.

I am delighted to say Professor Ishaque was absolutely right.  Following the second injection I am now virtually pain free and able to lead a normal life.
