I have been treated by Professor Ishaque since 2017 for various spinal issues. He has been able to help me and get me back on my feet and back to work and most importantly out of pain and off pain medication. I have complete confidence in him and his team. I find him very approachable, understanding and able to put me completely at ease. He really is the light at the end of the tunnel for me.

He explains in detail the procedure and what the expected outcome will be, he gives you all the information needed to make an informed decision and has helped me find the best way forward to suit my symptoms. He was recommended to me originally by my physiotherapist after an MRI scan for leg pain, I was shocked to be told my back was the problem not my leg and then given the option of pain management or spinal surgery by another consultant, I was unprepared and totally petrified of the options and chose the pain management route. 

After discussing my situation with my physiotherapist he recommended Professor Ishaque, he told me he had complete trust in him and he would be his choice. Professor Ishaque saw me and I had spinal injections which kept me without problems until 2019 when I had a herniated disk. I would not have considered anyone else other than Professor Ishaque and again he got me sorted out and back to work. The injections for me work really well and really settle my pain down, Professor Ishaque explains how he does his injections and they definitely relieve my symptoms in most cases for a couple of years without having anything more invasive.

I am so glad he was recommended to me and I would 100% recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain, I have total trust in him and his advice and I am confident that if I need him again in the future that I am in safe hands. I can’t thank him enough.
